EVA sole refers to the sole made of EVA material. EVA sole has high resilience, high tension resistance, high toughness, good shockproof and cushioning performance, excellent heat insulation, thermal insulation, cold resistance and low temperature performance, can withstand severe cold and exposure, closed pores, good sound insulation effect, closed pore structure, non water absorption, moisture-proof and water resistance, resistance to corrosion of seawater, grease, acid, alkali and other chemicals, antibacterial, non-toxic, tasteless and pollution-free.

EVA shoe sole is characterized by good softness, rubber like elasticity, good flexibility, transparency and surface gloss at 0 degrees Celsius, good chemical stability, good aging resistance and ozone resistance, and no toxicity. Good mixing with filler, good coloring and molding processability.

It is closely related to vinyl acetate content, molecular weight and melt index. When the melt index (MI) is constant and the content of vinyl acetate (VA) is increased, its elasticity, softness, solubility and transparency are also improved. When the VA content is reduced, the performance is close to polyethylene, the rigidity is increased, and the wear resistance and electrical insulation are improved.

When the VA content is constant, the melt index increases, the softening point decreases, the processability and surface gloss improve, but the strength decreases. Otherwise, with the decrease of MI, the molecular weight increases, and the impact performance and environmental stress cracking resistance improve. The polarity of acetate increases the elasticity and viscosity, decreases the crystallinity and electrical properties, and is soluble in hydrocarbon solvents and oils.
